Florida

We're so sad to be back in 20 degree weather. We had an absolutely fantastic time in Florida, sunny and 84 everyday! I feel like I have so much to talk about. This might be a long entry.

Our first sunny day at the pool!

Magic Kingdom.....ok so this picture is a little misleading, it only rained for 45 minutes. We weren't going to let a few rain drops ruin our day. Sunny pics of the magic kingdom to follow (I have to scan them in first)

Light parade just finished now we're waiting for the fireworks. Cute ears Teagan.

Animal Kingdom....OMG I have never been to the Animal Kingdom, it was such a blast! There are so many animals that you can get so close to and the safari is unbelievable! To many animals to show.

Safari Daisey..... Teagan was ok being near the characters but if they tried to touch her oh man, it was santa all over again. So mom got to meet all of the characters as well.

Twins Spring Training......Go Twins...and yes Justin M was there and yes I did spend the majority of my time staring at him

Sanibel Island....Teagan loved the ocean. If it were up to her she would have just kept going. Thankfully mom, dad and grandma were there to show her the way so the tide didn't suck her in. She played in the sand and collected a few shells....another beautiful day.

Grandpa's boat......grandpa took us all for a ride in his boat and we saw 2 dolphins right next to the boat and a manatee. It was so exciting. Plus all of the gorgeous homes! A BIG THANK YOU to Curt and Judy for having us for the week. We got to do so many fun things! Teagan has been telling everyone about it. See you soon.

Big Girl Bed

Brandon is like my mom. Every time I go out of town I come home to a surprise (My mom does the same to my dad). This time while I was in Iowa Brandon decided it was time for Teagan to transition to a big girl bed. He took her shopping and let her pick out her own bedding, how cute! Of course Abby and Elmo and her yellow blanket HAVE to be in bed with her. It's been two nights and she doing great. I think we'll get her a "real" toddler bed soon.

Iowa

Emily and I went to Iowa this weekend to visit Moose, Nancy and the twins. The trip started out great and the stay couldn't have better. The boys are so cute and were so good. There's a lot of action with 2 babies that are 4 weeks old but Nancy and Moose handle it so well. Em and I were commenting on how calm and patient the two of you are with each other. A true example of a fantastic relationship, you're an inspiration!















As for the trip back all I can say is WTF (anyone who knows Emily knows what it means). We were scheduled to take the 6pm flight and all seemed great then a bunch of stuff (most out of our control) happened and we ended up driving home and arriving at 5:30 am! Long, long story!

Swimming

Teagan's love for water is still going strong. Emily, Kristine and I took the kids to the community center for the afternoon. It was a great place for kids. They had a no entry pool so they could walk around the shallow area and a slide just for little kids. I'm sure we'll be spending more weekends there this winter.
