3rd Birthday Extravaganza!!!

Today was Teagan's 3rd birthday party. It was Tinker Bell mania! We had Tinker Bell invitations, plates, napkins, treat bags, cake, the movie was playing, she had a Tinker Bell dress and a Tinker Bell jump house. She "planned" her party from start to finish and loved every minute of it.

...Thank you Grammy for the Tinker Bell dress. Every morning when I wake up the first thing I ask is if I can wear my "pretty Tink dress." Mom says it's too cold but I get to wear it when I come home from "school".

New Hat

While it was Teagan's 3rd birthday earlier this week her party isn't until Sunday so she thinks her birthday is Sunday, because that's when the presents will come :-) She was lucky enough to get a gift from Auntie and our friend Colleen on her birthday. Here she is modeling her new outfit including hat from Colleen.

First hat forward....

Then hat backward....

Chicago

As part of my 30th birthday in November Brandon planned a trip to Chicago for the two of us. The trip was this past weekend. It was fantastic! It was so nice to have 2 nights/3 days to do whatever we wanted to do. And did we ever pack in the activities.

We arrived late Sunday morning, checked into the hotel and got ready for our show. We saw Jersey Boys which was awesome. I saw it when it was in town but it was Brandon's frist time seeing it and he loved it.

That night we ate dinner at the top of the Hancock Building on the 95th floor. It was a beautiful view, great dinner and wonderful service. The picture doesn't do it justice.

The next morning we headed to the Corner Bakery for breakfast and then spent the day walking and shopping. We didn't buy very much, just a few things for Teagan but it was fun to visit all of the stores. The exercise was felt great too.

After spending the entire day walking we headed to the Blackhawks vs Wild game at the United Center. The Wild won 4-1!
The next morning we headed home. It was great to spend time just the two of us but I was excited to get home to Teagan!

Sesame Street Live

Emily and I did our annual tradition of bringing the girls to Sesame Street Live. I thought the show this year was much more entertaining then last year. Also, this year the girls stayed for the entire show. Last year we left at the intermission.

You can see the eyes of one of the characters that came over the shake their hands. Teagan still has little interest in touching them.

Kitty

Hugs for Kitty.

Sledding

Before this Arctic Blast of -30 hit us Brandon took Teagan sledding. She loved going down the hill but wasn't fond of having to walk back up the hill.

Welcome Hudson

Bryce and Abby added Hudson to their family Wednesday morning. We visited Saturday afternoon and he is so cute. He was 10lbs 8oz and all are doing well. I can't wait until our little one gets here! Hudson was so content all afternoon. I love little babies.Teagan and Boden played so nicely together.

Teagan's 1st Movie

Over the holiday break we took Teagan to her first movie. She loved it! She sat in her chair, had some popcorn and watched the entire movie. I have to admit those penguins are pretty funny.

Christmas Day

We started Christmas Day at our house with gifts from Santa and Stockings. Then we headed to to my parent's for more gifts, hash brown quiche and OJ. Above....Jaydin and Teagan after gift opening.

The new kitty my sister got my mom just before Christmas.
