More Activities

Teagan started 2 more activites....skating and swimming of course she loves both.

Teagan is the little one in the middle. She fell about 30 times and just kept getting up.

NY

I was lucky enough to get to go to New York again this year with Brandon's mom and my sister in law. It was a fantastic trip! There is always something to do in NY and I loved every minute of it. Thank you Judy for another wonderful experience.

The first night we had a group dinner at The Institute of Culinary Education. Wonderful food!

On Saturday we went on a bus tour, visited Ground Zero and had lunch at Tavern on The Green. It sounds like Tavern might be closing and another restaurant taking over so I'm glad we were able to visit this landmark before it closes.

Friday night we saw Billy Elliot....fantastic!

Sunday night we saw Mary Poppins....also very good.

The trip was great...I missed the kids as this was my first time away from Bryce...can't wait for my next adventure.

Twin Cities 10 Mile

I did it! After doing a few 10k's (6.2 miles) last summer I decided to start training for the Twin Cities 10 Mile after I had Bryce. The race was today and I finished! While I wasn't thrilled about the 7am start time the race was fantastic! Pretty nice weather (a little sun would have been nice) great fans and a very organized race. While I have zero aspirations to run a marathon a half marathon might be an option next summer. Heck it's only 3 more miles.

The race started at the Metrodome and finished at the Capitol in St. Paul.

That flag was HUGE and you run right under it at 9.8 miles. It was held up by the ladders of two fire trucks.

All of the little people between the tents are marathon finishers.

So Tired

Bryce loves his johnny jumper....yesterday he was jumping away and rocked himself to sleep. It was so cute. Right after I took these pictures he woke up and immediately started bouncing again. It was pretty funny.

Bryce's First Cereal

Bryce got his first taste of organic rice cereal this week. He didn't know what to do with it. It pretty much just sat in his mouth. I guess we'll wait a couple more weeks and try again.
